R20
The R20 rack-mounted chiller, similar in design to the R10, offers enhanced cooling capabilities with double the capacity. It employs a PID controller, known for its reliable and precise temperature control. This type of controller is not only efficient in maintaining desired temperatures but also allows for easy integration of heating capacity, making the R20 versatile while remaining cost-effective. The increased cooling capacity of the R20 makes it suitable for applications requiring more robust cooling solutions, without compromising on the precision and economic efficiency.
For customisation, the R20 provides several options to cater to specific operational needs. It includes a low temperature pack capable of reaching 0°C, which can be extended to -10°C with modifications to the plate heat exchanger, and a high temperature pack that can achieve temperatures up to +65°C. Communication with external systems can be facilitated by an onboard RS485 Communications Protocol via a 9-pin D-sub connection. The chiller also offers standard volt-free connections through a 9-pin D-sub connection.
Additional customisation features include an installation kit, an internally mounted filter kit with a 40-micron particulate filter, fan speed control options (either on/off for +/-2°C stability or proportional for +/-0.5°C stability), and in-line UV decontamination.
Enhancing its adaptability and functionality, the R20 includes options for a stainless steel enclosure for added durability and the possibility of de-branding for a more neutral appearance. External manifolds, ranging from 2- to 10-way, along with fluid adapters, provide flexibility. Additional features include remote stop/start capabilities, a pressure sensor (with an option to connect to RS485), and a conductivity sensor (also available with RS485 connectivity).
