Applied Thermal Control and Thermal Exchange: United Expertise, Elevated Innovation

In 2019, we strengthened our offerings through a strategic merger with Thermal Exchange, a specialist manufacturer with a rich history in cooling systems. Founded in 1982 in Leicester, Thermal Exchange initially focused on designing and manufacturing airblast coolers for welding torches. Over the years, the company diversified into process cooling and temperature control equipment for industrial, medical, and scientific applications. The merger has allowed us to integrate our complementary expertise, thereby enhancing our product line and service offerings.

ATC has been a pioneer in building and designing laboratory chillers since its inception in 1995 while based in Coalville, Leicestershire. Since merging, ATC and Thermal Exchanger have consolidated operations at a new site in Barrow on Soar. This move not only marked a new chapter in our journey but also signifies out commitment to maintaining our roots in Leicestershire, the heart of the country, where our journey began.
