XF025
The XF025, a larger model within Applied Thermal Control’s XF-Series of water-to-water heat exchangers, utilises the K6 enclosure. This specific enclosure choice facilitates the use of centrifugal pumps, and provides the necessary space for a versatile array of additional options. These options include the ability to accommodate larger tanks and heater packs, enhancing the XF025’s capability to meet a broad range of cooling requirements. Designed for portability, the XF025 is mounted on castors, making it an easily movable solution for various settings. Its flexibility and capacity make it particularly suitable for applications such as laser systems and ion sources, as well as for cooling multiple systems in laboratory and industrial applications.
In terms of customisation, the XF025 offers several options to cater to specific operational needs. It includes a high temperature pack for applications requiring temperatures up to +75°C and non-return solenoid valves for improved fluid control. This model can be configured with high temperature water circuits (without a heater), adding to its versatility. Safety features such as a low flow alarm can be fitted, alongside onboard RS485 data protocol for streamlined communication and monitoring. The XF025 also offers advanced monitoring options like a flow meter pack with RS485 output, complemented by practical installation enhancements such as CPC quick release connectors and a comprehensive installation kit.
The XF025’s design also allows for the addition of seismic mounts, in-line UV decontamination, and a Qwikfoot kit. The unit’s adaptability is further enhanced by options like a stainless steel enclosure, de-branding for a generic appearance, and external manifolds ranging from 2- to 10-way for flexible fluid distribution. Enhanced control features include remote stop-start functionality, an auto-refill system, and various fluid adapters. For operational control, the XF025 can be equipped with an inverter-driven pump, a pressure sensor (with RS485 connectivity), and a conductivity sensor (also available with RS485), ensuring precise control and reliability in a range of demanding applications.
