XF015
The XF015, part of Applied Thermal Control’s water-to-water heat exchanger range, is designed with versatility in mind, available in two different enclosure types to accommodate varied pump requirements. The G02 enclosure option offers a smaller footprint, ideal for environments where space conservation is a priority. Alternatively, the G04 enclosure provides the flexibility to accommodate a broader range of pump options, including the use of a centrifugal pump. This adaptability makes the XF015 well-suited for diverse settings, ranging from laboratory to production environments, where different cooling needs and space constraints must be considered.
In terms of customisation, the XF015 offers a multitude of options to enhance its functionality according to specific requirements. A high temperature pack allows the unit to reach temperatures up to +75°C, and non-return solenoid valves ensure controlled fluid flow. The model can be configured with high-temperature water circuits (without a heater), broadening its application scope. Safety and operational efficiency are addressed with optional features like a low flow alarm and onboard RS485 data protocol for effective system communication. Additional options like a standard VFC set, in-line deionising cartridge and fittings, CPC quick release connectors, and an installation kit to cater to specific operational needs. The unit can also be equipped with a flow meter pack with RS485 output, seismic mounts, in-line UV decontamination and a Qwikfoot kit.
The XF015’s design also includes the option for a stainless-steel enclosure for enhanced durability, and de-branding for a neutral appearance. External manifolds ranging from 2- to 10-way allow for flexible fluid distribution, and features such as remote stop-start functionality, an auto-refill system, and various fluid adapters increase its adaptability. For enhanced control and monitoring, the XF015 can be fitted with a pressure sensor (with an option to connect to RS485), a conductivity sensor (also available with RS485 connectivity), and an inverter-driven pump.
