MGT

The MGT chiller from Applied Thermal Control is a modern, sophisticated, and environmentally conscious cooling solution engineered for laboratory and industrial applications. Designed to replace the Mini, the MGT features an advanced touchscreen interface for intuitive control, delivering enhanced performance with precise temperature management. Providing a cooling capacity of 0.5kW, the MGT ensures reliable temperature regulation for various applications.

Utilising R290, a natural refrigerant with a low global warming potential (GWP), the MGT is an eco-friendly choice for temperature control, combining cutting-edge technology with ease of use.

Sustainable Cooling and Environmental Compliance

The MGT features R290, a natural refrigerant that provides high efficiency with minimal environmental impact. With a charge of only 90g, it complied with air freight regulations, ensuring hassle-free global distribution.

The unit operates outside F-Gas regulations, offering businesses a sustainable cooling option without additional regulatory complexities.

Compact, Robust, and Flexible Design

With its small footprint, the MGT is ideal for benchtop systems where space is at a premium. The robust powder-coated steel enclosure ensures long-term reliability. Multi-voltage and multi-frequency capabilities support diverse power requirements, making it suitable for global installations.

The MGT offers a standard temperature range of +4°C to +35°C, making it suitable for a broad spectrum of applications. An optional low temperature pack allows the unit to operate down to -10°C, providing enhanced flexibility for specialised processes.

Advanced User Interface and Temperature Control

The MGT features an advanced touchscreen interface, providing a more user-friendly and intuitive experience. The touchscreen allows for precise control and easy adjustments of temperature settings, real-time monitoring of system performance, and quick access to diagnostic information. This simplifies operation and reduces the likelihood of user errors, making it ideal for both laboratory and industrial environments where precision and ease of use are essential.

Equipped with a sophisticated PID control system, the MGT ensures temperature stability to ±0.1°C, making it ideal for applications requiring strict temperature regulation.

User-Friendly Functionality and Safety Features

The MGT is equipped with a visible fluid level indicator and push-fit connections, which simplify installation and maintenance processes. The flow-through tank system ensures efficient fluid circulation, optimising performance.

The MGT includes process stop interlocks, visual alarms for low fluid flow and temperature deviations, and compliance with CE, UKCA, and alignment with UL standards. These features provide users with confidence in the unit’s safety and reliability, ensuring consistent and secure operation in laboratory and industrial applications.
