The G01 recirculating chiller from Applied Thermal Control is an advanced, energy-efficient cooling solution designed with sustainability at its core. Engineered for laboratory and industrial applications, the G01 delivers precise temperature control with two available variants: a standard variant providing 1.4kW cooling capacity*, and a high ambient variant offering 1.6kW cooling capacity*. Its environmentally conscious design incorporates R290, a natural refrigerant, offering a Global Warming Potential of 3 – a significant reduction in environmental impact without sacrificing performance.

The G01 recirculating chiller is powered by R290 natural refrigerant, offering an ultra-low Global Warming Potential. This environmentally conscious design significantly reduces the unit’s carbon footprint, making it a sustainable solution for laboratories and industrial processes

The unit actively contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, aligning with global environmental standards. It is an ideal choice for industries committed to lowering their ecological impact without compromising performance.

Performance and Precision – Standard and High Ambient Variants

The G01 delivers precise temperature control with a responsive PID system and solenoid valve, maintaining stability within ±0.1°C – perfect for critical instrumentation.

Two variants are available:

Standard Variant: Offers 1.4kW cooling capacity at +20°C ambient with a +20°C set point.

High Ambient Variant: Provides enhanced performance with a 1.6kW cooling capacity at +20°C ambient and a +20°C set point, suitable for warmer environments.

Both variants support a wide operating temperature range, from a standard +4° to +35°C, with extended capabilities reaching -20°C for low temperatures and up to +90°C for high-temperature processes. Configurable pump options and customisable settings enhance application flexibility.

Flexible and User-Friendly Operation

The G01 is designed with user convenience in mind, featuring a visible fluid level indicator, an integrated drain for simplified maintenance, and internal flow and pressure controls for seamless operation. Its flow-through tanks, with sight glass and increased depth, minimise turbulence and ensure consistent performance.

The robust, powder coated steel enclosure and compact form, combined with castors (two swivel, two braked), make the G01 portable and ideal for benchtop systems, providing both durability and operational flexibility.

Safety, Standards, and Compliance

The G01 includes comprehensive safety features, including process stop interlocks for empty reservoirs, visual alarms for low fluid flow and temperature deviations, and automatic restart after interlock restoration. Internal segregation and venting further reduce gas leak risks, ensuring safe operation.

The unit meets CE and UKCA certifications and is built in accordance with UL requirements, providing peace of mind for laboratory and industrial applications. Both standard and high ambient variants meet the same high standards for performance, reliability, and compliance.
