The K6 recirculating chiller is engineered to deliver precise temperature control for 6.0kW of cooling at a 17°C set point. This chiller is designed as dependable equipment for various applications, offering flexibility with both standard and optional accessories. The K6’s design is versatile, supporting many standard and non-standard options, which makes it adaptable to different operational requirements.
In terms of construction, the K6 chiller features stainless steel tanks that are suitable for use with DI and nonferrous applications. The design prioritises ease of use, with a top-filling system that includes a tool-less entry panel and a simple cap for quick and hassle-free maintenance. The unit is equipped with a splash-proof keypad and mains switch, enhancing its safety and durability.
Temperature control is managed by a reliable microprocessor PID system, ensuring accurate and consistent cooling performance. Additionally, the design includes vents on all sides, allowing for flexible installation in various settings. It is capable of managing a permissible temperature of up to +70°C in the return line, accommodating a wide range of cooling needs.
Operational efficiency and safety are key aspects of the K6 chiller. It includes a standard pressure gauge and in internal bypass valve, enabling the adjustment of pump pressure to suit specific needs. For enhanced connectivity and control, the chiller offers an optional RS485 interface for PC connection. Safety features include an optional alarm output with a potential free change-over contact, providing an extra layer of security.
