The K1 chiller from Applied Thermal Control is a compact and efficient cooling solution, offering 1.75kW of cooling capacity. It features a discreet design that operates quietly, making it ideal for laboratory environments, or any indoor setting requiring minimal noise disruption. This chiller can be customised for specific applications, enhancing its versatility across various uses. It has a robust build and includes standard features such as a pressure gauge and an internal bypass valve to adjust pump pressure, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.

In terms of connectivity and safety, the K1 chiller offers an optional RS485 interface for PC connection, allowing for enhanced control and monitoring. The chiller is equipped with stainless steel tanks, making it suitable for both DI (deionised) and nonferrous applications. Additionally, it features low liquid level protection with both optical and audible alarms, ensuring the safety and integrity of the chiller’s operation.

The K1 is designed to handle a permissible temperature of up to +70°C in the return line and includes an alarm output with a potential free change-over contact for added safety.

The operation of the chiller is straightforward, thanks to its ergonomic design, large bright LED display, and splash-proof keypad with an integrated mains switch.
