The ecoMini
Originally engineered for cooling turbopumps, the ecoMini, like its predecessors in the well-regarded KTR range, excels in situations where efficient and quiet heat removal is essential. Although it does not feature a PID controller, the ecoMini compensates with an adjustable cooling rate, allowing for precise temperature control. Its LCD display conveniently shows the current temperature, ensuring ease of monitoring for users.
In terms of cooling capacity, the ecoMini offers a robust 500W, surpassing the KT range. This increased power does not compromise its efficiency or size; it is 41% smaller than the KT series, compact enough to be likened to a desktop PC, yet powerful enough for demanding applications. The ecoMini’s universal power compatibility (90-260VAC input voltage and 50/60Hz input frequency) ensures its suitability for use worldwide. Its energy efficiency is further enhanced by a variable speed compressor and fan, allowing for better control over noise levels, leading to a whisper-quiet operation.
The ecoMini’s design emphasises user convenience and serviceability. Its water system is built with 12mm push fit fittings, making maintenance straightforward without the need for specialised tools. The chiller offers options for both high and low-pressure pumps, catering to various application needs.
