High Temperature Pack – OP00002
The High Temperature Pack (OP00002) extends the operating capability of compatible ATC chillers for applications requiring process fluid temperatures above the standard operating range.
An in-tank heater is added to provide controlled heating alongside the chiller’s standard temperature control functionality. When heating is required, the heater raises the temperature of the process fluid towards the selected setpoint, allowing the same system to provide both heating and cooling as required.
The High Temperature Pack supports process fluid setpoints up to +60°C, with the heater output dependent on the selected chiller model.
When Is a High Temperature Pack Required?
The High Temperature Pack should be considered where an application requires a process fluid setpoint above the chiller’s standard operating range or where controlled heating is required as part of the process.
Because heater output varies between chiller models, the required process temperature and heating requirement should be considered alongside the application’s cooling duty when selecting a suitable chiller.
The High Temperature Pack is factory fitted during manufacture and should therefore be specified when ordering a chiller.
For applications requiring operating at elevated process temperatures, speak to the ATC team about your required temperature, cooling duty, and application conditions so that we can help to identify a suitable chiller configuration.
