External Transformer Pack – AC00001
The External Transformer Pack (AC00001) provides additional electrical supply flexibility for compatible ATC MG-Series chillers where the available site power differs from the chiller’s standard electrical specification.
The transformer allows a 220-240V, 5-spec MG-Series chiller to operate from a 115V supply, providing a practical solution for installations where 115V electrical supply is available.
When Should I Consider an External Transformer?
The External Transformer Pack may be suitable where:
- A 115V electrical supply is available at the installation site
- The selected MG-Series chiller has a 220-240V, 5-spec electrical configuration
- An external transformer provides a suitable way to accommodate the available onsite power
Unlike ATC Option Packs, the External Transformer Pack is supplied separately from the chiller for installation and integration as required.
The External Transformer Pack is specifically available for the MG-Series, including MGR, MGC, and MGT models.
Electrical requirements should always be confirmed when selecting a chiller to ensure that the unit and transformer are suitable for the available site supply.
