Applied
Thermal Control is excited to announce the addition of Jonathan Simmonds to our
team as the Quality Manager. Joining us on 5th September 2023,
Jonathan brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our quality
management processes.
As
Quality Manager, Jonathan is dedicated to ensuring that all products, services,
and processes at ATC not only meet, but exceed, our customers’ expectations.
His typical week involves developing the Quality Management Systems (QMS),
analysing quality data and metrics, resolving quality issues, and
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards,
and training staff on new processes. He is also focused on driving continuous
improvement – an area where he is eagerly anticipating collaborations with the
team in the coming year.
Jonathan’s
favourite work-related memory so far has been witnessing the genuine loyalty
and friendliness among the staff at Applied Thermal Control, an environment he
says that he finds truly unique and inspiring. Frequently asked about raising
NCRs, Jonathan always encourages proactive quality management, reflecting his
commitment to excellence.
A
graduate of Ratcliffe College, Jonathan is originally from Nottingham and has
been living in Loughborough for the past two decades. Jonathan’s interests
extend beyond the office, with a passion for motorbikes, the intricate art of
bonsai, and the pursuit of the perfect coffee blend. While sports teams don’t
capture his attention, these hobbies showcase his appreciation for detail and
quality, mirroring his professional ethos.
Jonathan
is excited about the future growth and product development at Applied Thermal
Control. He is particularly looking forward to developing the QMS to gain UKAS
accreditation, an endeavour that will significantly contribute to ATC’s
continuous improvement and quality assurance.
