For us to process your enquiry with maximum efficiency, please have to hand the following information:

Model number

This is a seven or eight digit reference, always preceded by the letter K. It is always found on the rating label, on the side panel of KT units, and rear panel of all other chillers.

Serial number

This is a six digit number, found on a label separate to the rating label, but located close to it.

Our service department also have wide ranging experience with repairs to other manufacturer's chillers. Please contact us for further details.

Troubleshooting

When contacting us with your model and serial number, please also have as full a description of the symptom, and any other factors which may have been coincident.

There are some basic checks, common to most models, that you can make prior to contacting us, which will save time and assist us with the diagnosis and solution.

Checks you can make:

Coolant still circulating?
If not, is the motor still attempting to run?
Chiller not achieving expected pressure?
Check for blockage in your application.
Check for blockage in chiller circuit.
Can be checked by fitting short length of pipe between IN and OUT on chiller.
Adjust with pressure relief valve, if fitted, in accordance with procedure in operation manual.
Error message on display?
Record message for our information
Chiller overheated?
Check condenser (air intake) is not blocked
Check ambient temperature not excessively high
Check fan if working
Chiller not achieving desired temperature
Check heat load not excessive
Check condenser (air intake) is not blocked
