The Applied Thermal Control team has seen growth in recent months, with 4 new additions to personnel.  These latest members of staff add benefit to our customers with improved service, response times and provision of technical information. With these new skills, we can harness latest technological advancements and apply to our range of chillers. ATC are proud to offer customers, an individual service with the ability to adapt chillers to suit specific industry requirements.

Carol Furnival joins the company as product and procurement administrator. Previously with 20 years’ experience in the gas industry as sales office manager.

Carol is responsible for the efficient flow of chiller repairs, directly communicating with our customers to ascertain any issues with the equipment and liaising with technical staff to provide resolutions.  Managing the administration of chillers booked in for repair, issuing of interim loan chillers and keeping customers updated with repair progress and the safe return of fixed chillers.

International email requests for support also come directly to Carol, who will offer advice or pass to the technical team to provide fast and precise customer technical support.

Carol also manages the customer annual preventative maintenance visits with our maintenance partner LC Services.

Mitchell Howard has 8 years’ experience in a manufacturing research and development background and holds an EngD (engineering doctorate).  Mitchell joins ATC in the role of technical manager.

With key responsibility to identify and implement development projects.  Assessing opportunities for new products utilising new technologies, which offer more features therefor offering more efficient product solutions.  Mitchell manages the ATC quality management system ISO9001, which includes the remit to collect and analyse customer feedback.  Customer feedback contributes into the improvement of our existing product range in terms of reliability and suitability.

We use CAD programs to design new precision chillers, the modification of components, creating a library of existing part drawings and to update our library of engineering drawings for suppliers. Mitchell oversees and drives the appropriate CAD package.

In conjunction with the technical team Mitchell offers technical support direct to customers who experience fundamental reoccurring problems with chillers.  Working with customers to diagnose the issue and create a suitable long term solution.

Mitchell also supports our sales department with technical questions in customer meetings, offers technical training for staff and contractors and also develops suppliers.

Helen Keast joined the company with 20 years’ experience in sales and marketing.  Tasked with heading up the marketing communications for ATC through creation of a new responsive website, exhibition presence, regular emails/PR and keeping ATC’s online presence up to date.

Martin Moore Joined ATC in June 2016 strengthening the workshop team.  The increase in workshop personnel means that the company can now supply more chillers quickly and efficiently, Martin has responsibility for building chillers up to a K3 model. Martin comes to ATC with 10 years’ experience in engineering and has previously worked for employers in the industrial field working with turbo generators.
